The Department of Midwifery started education and training with the establishment of Çanakkale School of Health in 1996. From 1996 until 2011, our school continued its academic activities in its old building in the city center and since 2011, it has been continuing its education and training activities in its new building in Terzioğlu Campus.

The Department of Midwifery aims to train midwifes who are equipped with modern professional knowledge and skills, have ethical rules and values and protect these ethical values. In the department; Within the framework of international relations, 1 student was sent to Lithuania with the exchange program. In addition, student exchange has been made with many universities in our country within the framework of the Farabi Exchange Program. In addition, our students are supported to participate in various national and international scientific activities and student congresses, and our students show their academic success by receiving awards in these platforms.
